Weekly Moon Dispatch – Week of September 19, 2026

Do you need more Moon joy this week?

First Quarter stands over Earth tonight.

Sunrise at Conrad Station is still a couple of days off — the station sits west of the central meridian.

The long lunar night continues at Conrad Station. Outside there is only Earthlight on the regolith and the hard black of vacuum. Earth hangs high above the station. Surface activity remains minimal. Life continues inside the habitats under artificial light, where the quiet technical margins that keep everyone alive stay fully in force.

This is hard science fiction lunar frontier territory: thin margins, three-day lags, and people trying to stay human while the vacuum waits outside.
