Daily Moon Dispatch – 5 October 2026

A waning crescent hangs over Earth.

The long lunar night continues at Conrad Station. Outside there is only Earthlight on the regolith and the hard black of vacuum. Earth hangs high above the station. Surface activity remains minimal. Life continues inside the habitats under artificial light, where the quiet technical margins that keep everyone alive stay fully in force.

Milton Johnson still carries surface lessons that started as a rookie’s Moon legs: mass is not weight, and the station’s indoor calm is paid for outside.

Moon base hard science fiction: air, water, power, and the narrow buffers that keep the Habs alive.
