Daily Moon Dispatch – 23 October 2026

The Moon is waxing gibbous as seen from Earth.

The long lunar day continues at Conrad Station. Hard golden light stretches across the regolith. Short shadows pool around the habitats and crawler tracks. Systems remain under full solar load, yet the old pressures — water, power margins, and the three-day lag — have not eased.

Cooter is not a prospector in the Nils Carmike mold, but the surface still sees him when something needs fetching, returning, or quietly not talked about in the official log.

Lunar noir hard science fiction: justice is personal, and backup is three days away.
