Daily Moon Dispatch – 22 October 2026

The Moon is waxing gibbous as seen from Earth.

The long lunar day continues at Conrad Station. Hard golden light stretches across the regolith. Short shadows pool around the habitats and crawler tracks. Systems remain under full solar load, yet the old pressures — water, power margins, and the three-day lag — have not eased.

Crawler tracks leaving Conrad Station still follow what Annie MacInturner learned at Fra Mauro. Mass is not weight. The shadows still hold questions about water. Legacy gear can still kill you.

From the Fabulae Lunae series — Thunder Moon Tussle, Mask of the Joyful Moon, and The Lunadyne Incident.
