The Moon is waxing gibbous as seen from Earth.
The long lunar day continues at Conrad Station. Hard golden light stretches across the regolith. Short shadows pool around the habitats and crawler tracks. Systems remain under full solar load, yet the old pressures — water, power margins, and the three-day lag — have not eased.
Sheriff Del Anderson’s name is still on the surface logs. The man himself is less reliable than the badge. Deputies and prospectors read the ambiguity and adjust; an empty chair would be cleaner than this.
