Daily Moon Dispatch – 4 September 2026
Last Quarter stands over Earth tonight.
Sunset at Conrad comes after Last Quarter, on the western near side.
The long lunar day continues at Conrad Station. Hard golden light stretches across the regolith. Short shadows pool around the habitats and crawler tracks. Systems remain under full solar load, yet the old pressures — water, power margins, and the three-day lag — have not eased.
Doc Keller is watching the EVA returns. Broken bones, poorly timed surface work, and the slow damage the Moon does to tissue all cross her threshold before they become anyone else’s problem.
Lunar noir hard science fiction: justice is personal, and backup is three days away.
The Daily Moon Dispatch continues to range across the whole Fabulae Lunae series. Any of the three books and any of their central characters may take the lead on a given day.
