Daily Moon Dispatch – 1 November 2026

Until further notice, this is the last Daily Moon Dispatch. Continue to look for Moon Dispatches and the Weekly Moon Dispatch

Last Quarter stands over Earth tonight.

Sunset at Conrad comes after Last Quarter, on the western near side.

The long lunar day continues at Conrad Station. Hard golden light stretches across the regolith. Short shadows pool around the habitats and crawler tracks. Systems remain under full solar load, yet the old pressures — water, power margins, and the three-day lag — have not eased.

Mose Crane’s standard is still on the trails: the mission is the sample, the extra EVA is the one you cannot take back, and the crater floor does not get prettier if you stare at it.

This is hard science fiction lunar frontier territory: thin margins, three-day lags, and people trying to stay human while the vacuum waits outside.
