Daily Moon Dispatch – 21 October 2026

The Moon is waxing gibbous as seen from Earth.

The morning terminator has reached Conrad Station.

The Sun has just risen at Conrad Station. The long lunar day is beginning.

Outside, hard golden light is returning to the regolith. After two weeks of Earthlight and vacuum black, the surface is bright again. Systems that spent the night on stored power can recover. Life still moves carefully — the lag has not changed — but the station is no longer living entirely indoors under artificial light.

Milton Johnson is on the surface the way a man who learned it the hard way is on the surface — counting inertia, watching dust, and remembering the near-misses that older hardware never advertised.

A near future moon colony thriller, still playing out at Conrad Station.
