Daily Moon Dispatch – 14 October 2026

A waxing crescent hangs over Earth.

The long lunar night continues at Conrad Station. Outside there is only Earthlight on the regolith and the hard black of vacuum. Earth hangs high above the station. Surface activity remains minimal. Life continues inside the habitats under artificial light, where the quiet technical margins that keep everyone alive stay fully in force.

Jim Ross — Cooter to anyone who has been here long enough — is the kind of station regular who knows which items were supposed to go back, and which conversations should stay in the infirmary doorway.

A near future moon colony thriller, still playing out at Conrad Station.
