Daily Moon Dispatch – 7 September 2026
A waning crescent hangs over Earth.
The long lunar night continues at Conrad Station. Outside there is only Earthlight on the regolith and the hard black of vacuum. Earth hangs high above the station. Surface activity remains minimal. Life continues inside the habitats under artificial light, where the quiet technical margins that keep everyone alive stay fully in force.
Deputy Gen Miller continues her patrols through the dimly lit habitats and corridors. Flashlights cut the dark; the badge still has to walk the station when backup is three days away.
Moon base hard science fiction: air, water, power, and the narrow buffers that keep the Habs alive.
